CCSD Internet Resources

Family Support Center

Communities in Schools along with other community partners and working closely with the
District is staging a call center to help families needing home Internet access. The Family
Support Center (FSC) will serve as a single point of contact for families of District students to
request in-home Internet connection. Do not contact Cox or hotspot providers directly, families
will be guided through their options and given the information they need.
The District will subsidize in-home Internet connections for families with a financial need through
the 2020/21 school year. The District subsidy will cover 100% of the family’s costs of the inhome
Internet service during the school year. We have a variety of connection options
available, which will be determined by the FSC to meet the needs of the families requesting
service.
The Family Support Center will be open 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They
can be reached at (888) 616-2476 Additional information is on the FSC website at
ConnectingKidsNV.org.
Families must work through the FSC to receive District subsidized in-home Internet service.
The call center will begin answering the phones on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 7:00 a.m.. The
FSC is expected to operate for sixty to ninety days.
